Purchased a 5G Mobile phone and don’t know how to enable the 5g network on Motorola mobile.
Don’t worry, we have written step by step guide to enable a 5g network in all moto 5g phones such as g62, g82, g71, and moto edge 20 pro.
The process to enable a 5g network in all moto 5g phones is almost the same.
We will also discuss why you are not able to switch to a 5g network even if it is a 5g phone.
The process of enabling a 5g network in moto 5g phone with Vodafone, Airtel, and Jio is identical.
How to switch to a 5g Network in Moto 5g Mobile
Even if your phone is 5g enabled, you can not find the 5g option until the service provider has not implemented it for your mobile.
For it, the Service provider sends a text message to inform you. such as i received from Jio in the below screenshot.
However, if you don’t find a 5g option even after it is implemented by service provider in your phone.
You may not have updated your phone.
Just update your phone to the latest update.
here are the steps.
1. Go to ‘Settings’ (click the Gear Icon).
2. Scroll down and click on ‘system update’.
3. Click on ‘Check for updates’ and update your phone to the latest update.
You will see the phone screen after updating as below image
Once the above two steps are done. Now 5g network option will be able on your phone.
Now go to the ‘Setting’.
Click ‘Network & Internet’ Setting
Click Mobile Network.
Now Click the Mobile network where you want to use 5g Network if you have two sims.
I chose the Jio
Now click ‘Preferred network type’.
Once you click, a popup will appear with different Network options such as LTE, 3g, 2g, and 5g.
Choose 5g and you are done. Now your mobile will run on a 5g network.
The same process you can use for Vodafone and Airtel too.
